The Warner Ellenburg Jazz Trio (Joe Warner - bandleader, piano; Mike Ellenburg - upright bass; Isaac Schwartz - drums), will be playing at Jupiter, in Downtown Berkeley, on Tuesday Nov 13 from 8-11pm.
Come enjoy great pizza and beer and the sounds of the Warner Ellenburg Jazz Trio. Jupiter is right across the street from the Downtown Berkeley Bart station, so transportation is easy. If you're under 21 arrive before 8pm.

Joe Warner - BandLeader / Piano
Joe Warner has been playing piano since the tender age of 5. He grew up playing in the church, and has studied classical piano with Kent Darnielle, and jazz with local icons Susan Muscarella and Howard Wiley. He received the 2007 Dick Conte Jazz Piano Scholarship, and is currently in the Advanced High School Jazz Ensemble at the Berkeley Jazzschool.
Joe has performed with many area churches, including Our Savior's Lutheran in Lafayette, Martinez United Methodist, and Second Baptist Church of Martinez.
The Band

The Warner Ellenburg Jazz Trio has been playing together, under the direction of Howard Wiley, since February 2006. We had our debut concert on July 27, 2007 at the Jazzschool in downtown Berkeley. The band that night consisted of Joe Warner - Bandleader, piano; Michael Ellenburg - bass; and Colin McDaniel - drums.
They have a MySpace page, listed as The Warner Ellenburg Wiley Trio.
